A two-year journey for men

What’s your Egypt?

Freed men free men.

What’s controlling you, or keeping you from becoming the man you’re called to be? Leaving Egypt is built to help you name it, leave it, and build something in its place — across Faith, Family, Fitness and Finance.

Four experiences. Two years. One mission.

02 · The big idea

More than a weekend

Leaving Egypt moves a man from personal freedom to intentional leadership, and finally to multiplication. It is one journey with five movements, not four events on a calendar.

  1. LeaveName what holds you
  2. SurrenderPut it down for good
  3. BuildConstruct the life
  4. ReturnGo back for one
  5. MultiplyFree other men

Get out. Grow up. Go back.

The end goal is not self-improvement. It is multiplication.

03 · Foundation

The four pillars

One system, four areas of life. They are carried together, in this order, for the whole two years — because no one of them can stand in for another.

Faith

Become the man God has called you to be.

  • Scripture
  • Prayer
  • Obedience

Family

Lead intentionally as a husband, father, son, brother and friend.

  • Marriage
  • Fatherhood
  • Presence

Fitness

Build the physical and mental discipline required to lead well.

  • Training
  • Recovery
  • Discipline

Finance

Become a responsible steward, provider, builder and leader.

  • Stewardship
  • Plan
  • Generosity

06 · Between the events

The gap is the point

The longest stretch of this journey is the part with no event in it. That is deliberate. The emotional experience must become daily discipline.

40

The 40

Forty days of intentional living, immediately after Level 1. Faith, Family, Fitness and Finance, worked daily — with a battle buddy, so men do not disappear after the event.

What are you doing about it?

9

The Walk

Months 11 through 19. Nine months to prove the Land Map through consistency: monthly accountability across all four pillars, marriage and family challenges, service, and measurable progress.

Are you living what you said you would live?

The emotional experience must become daily discipline.

07 · Multiplication

Outposts

An Outpost is a church-based or community-based men’s group led by an approved Leaving Egypt Guide. It is how one freed man becomes many.

  • Church
  • Outpost
  • Level 1
  • The Altar
  • Promised Land
  • Commission
  • Guide
  • New Outpost

The doorway, not the destination

Guides receive selected, approved content that introduces Leaving Egypt principles and creates hunger for the complete live journey. The deepest experiences remain exclusive to official Leaving Egypt events.

A Guide is never above the men he leads. The ground is always level.

Earned, not purchased

Each stage can carry a physical symbol that is earned rather than bought — a broken chain for Level 1, a symbol of surrender at The Altar, the completed Land Map and Covenant, a challenge coin at The Commission, and a distinctive identifier for a Guide.

Every symbol says the same four things: where I’ve been, what I committed to, who I’m becoming, and who’s coming behind me.

The Outpost is the doorway — not the destination.

08 · The language

Five questions

These are the questions a man carries through two years. They are asked in this order, and each one gets harder to avoid than the last.

  1. What’s your Egypt?

What’s controlling you or keeping you from becoming the man you’re called to be?

  2. What’s on your altar?

What are you refusing to surrender?

  3. Are you wandering?

Have you left the old life without intentionally building the new one?

  4. What’s your Promised Land?

What has God called you to build?

  5. Who’s your one?

Who are you going back for?

09 · Standards

Advancement is earned

Leaving Egypt should never become four retreats a man simply purchases. Attendance alone does not automatically qualify a man for the next stage.

  1. Before The Altar

Engage with The 40 and stay in accountability.

  2. Before The Promised Land

Demonstrate action on the commitments made at The Altar.

  3. Before The Commission

Spend meaningful time actually living the Land Map.

  4. Before becoming a Guide

Demonstrate character, humility, commitment, teachability and responsible leadership.

10 · The investment

Four experiences. Two years. One mission.

Eighteen days of live experience across two years, and twenty-four months of accountability between them. This is not four retreats. It is one intentional journey from freedom to multiplication.

What the journey includes

  • Level 1 — three days, and the door that fits where you are
  • The 40 — forty days of daily discipline with a battle buddy
  • The Altar — five days, and the months of living it out that follow
  • The Promised Land — five days, and your written Land Map
  • The Commission — five days, then the Guide Residency

Accessible by design

A transformational men’s journey shouldn’t be limited to the few who can afford it. Leaving Egypt is priced deliberately to put a two-year journey within reach of more men — and to equip the ones who finish to go back to their own churches and build others.

We’d rather talk it through with you than put a number on a page. Tell us where you are, and we’ll tell you exactly what it costs.

Ask About the Investment

Go back for one

Who’s your one?

Freedom creates responsibility. If you already know the answer, that’s usually the sign you’re ready to start.
